Webcast about Web 2.0

I should have posted this on the MLA blogg but I was too focused on my homework. . .
This afternoon there was a webinar from the Chief Learning Officer magazine entitled " Future of Learning: Everything You Wanted to Know about Web 2.0". Perhaps it is because of our MLA class that I found it was just touching the surface of social network but the points made about new technology and the new learner were very interesting. I'm interested in the description that "learning is flat" with the web which refers to peer to peer rather than from the teacher down to student. It seems that social networking is the new group project learning I did way back when. So interesting to see different social institutions approach to the concept of Web 2.0. Everyone seem to be struggling to involve the individual and the web in the process.
